ATC Language Schools in Dublin is located in the heart of the city on South William Street, just 1 minute walk from the fashionable shopping of Grafton Street and close to some of the city’s most popular attractions.

The school itself is located over 4 floors in a modern building that has been upgraded to provide students with the most comfortable city centre experience.  ATC Dublin has 16 spacious classrooms, each equipped with audio visual technology, enabling our teachers to provide material from a variety of media for a varied learning experience.

The 4th floor of the school is dedicated as a student lounge and recreation space, it is a perfect area for students to meet during breaks and after class to arrange their social activities.

Who is it for?

ATC Dublin offers adult year round courses for students aged 17+, there is no maximum age which allows for exciting and engaging discussions in classes.
*Please note that from September to May inclusive there is a maximum of 4 weeks stay for students aged 17 years old.

ATC Language Schools in Dublin also offer programmes for closed junior groups in the low season, offering the perfect base to explore Ireland’s capital city Dublin and attractions across Ireland.

Students taking an English course with us at ATC Dublin will have an experience they will remember long after their course has finished.

Choose from a range of English language courses in Dublin for adults, in international classes, students can begin their course with courses beginning each week through the year. We offer options including General English, Intensive English and exam preparation courses. All students will take an online test before arriving to determine their English level.

All adult students will receive log-in details for ATC Online 1 month before beginning their course, ATC Online is a personalised and integrated learning platform where teachers will add homework tasks, it will also give access to additional study material, exam preparation exercises and students can book for the social programme.

ATC Language Schools’ courses that take place in the mornings also include the option to join the varied social and cultural programme, free extra classes, or a short private tutorial.

ATC Dublin’s social and cultural programme changes each week, allowing students the opportunity to visit some of Dublin’s main attractions and the surrounding area in the afternoons after class. At the weekend students can join a full-day trip to discover some of the highlights Ireland has to offer further afield, all the while interacting with other students and making new international friends.

Optional free classes are available in the afternoons; these are designed to encourage students to increase their confidence in communication. They focus on Speaking & Listening, Business English and Pronunciation. They are available for students taking a morning course and lessons are 1 hour each on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

ATC offer a choice of accommodation for students, either staying on a half-board basis with a carefully selected host family, or in self-catering accommodation in the city centre. Alternatively, students can choose to arrange their own accommodation.

ATC Dublin also offer study trips for closed junior groups in the low season, September to June, with a comprehensive programme including bespoke tuition, full-board host family accommodation, and a tailor made social and cultural programme. The ATC team provide assistance from the time of booking, during the planning process and throughout the stay. Programmes can be arranged for weekend or mid-week arrivals and for 1 to 4 weeks.

The capital city of Dublin is only 15km from the international Dublin Airport, so offering an ideal location for students from around the world. Dublin also offers the ideal location to act as a base to explore the country and also other European destinations.

Dublin is a capital city like no other; students can explore the literary and art museums or take a Rock and Roll walking tour; explore Dublin from a kayak on River Liffey or cycle around Phoenix Park; enjoy fresh fish and chips in Howth or join the locals in sea swimming at Dun Laoghaire.

Dublin is also famous for the variety of festivals and activities it hosts all through the year, from the New Year’s Festival to Dublin International Film Festival, from the St Patrick’s Day festival to Bloomsday Literary festivals, from sports championships for food festivals; there is something for everyone to enjoy and experience while studying English with ATC.
