ATC Welcomes MEI Korean Student Ambassador to Ireland

May 28, 2024

Have you ever come back from a brilliant week of CPD, inspired, full of ideas, buzzing with energy, yet within a few weeks, the day-to-day sets back in?
The lesson plans from your training gather digital dust, you have some questions you forgot to ask, the colleagues you connected with in Dublin are back in their own schools, in their own classrooms, and probably in the same situation.

Sound familiar?

That’s exactly why we built the ATC Erasmus+ Hub – a free online community for educators who want to keep the momentum going long after a training weekends.

What Is the ATC Erasmus+ Hub?

The ATC Erasmus+ Hub is a growing online community forum for primary, secondary, VET and higher education teachers, education staff, and Erasmus+ coordinators who want to stay connected to what’s happening in European education.
Think of it as your go-to space for practical teaching ideas, Erasmus+ news, and peer connection – updated regularly and designed to be actually useful, not just another newsletter you delete on a Monday morning.

Some of the resources we will share include:

4 International teachers smiling and displaying certificates with Erasmus+ Flag

Erasmus+ Essentials breaks down the practical side of the programme. Funding rules, application timelines, Learning Agreements, KA1 vs KA2 – explained in plain language to help you navigate your application, accreditation and more.

Teaching Tips is where we get into the classroom. Recent articles shared have looked at AI literacy for teenagers, integrating CLIL into mainstream lessons, and how to design assessments that actually tell you something meaningful. These are using the same approaches we teach on our training courses.

ATC Spotlight gives a look inside what we do here in Dublin and Bray: the options available to you and your colleagues, upcoming course dates, staff perspectives, school news, and events such as free online webinars

What Will You Get From Joining?

If you’re a classroom teacher, you’ll find regular articles on methodology, digital tools, and classroom practice – all connected to an English language teaching context but relevant across subjects and sectors.

If you’re an Erasmus+ coordinator, you’ll find clear, practical guidance on navigating the programme, from writing a mobility plan to selecting the right training course for your staff. You can also connect with other educators across Europe to collaborate on mobilities and partnerships.

If you’re exploring whether a training week in Ireland might be right for your school or institution, the Hub gives you a real sense of who we are, how we work, and what participants actually take home from their time with us.

And if you’re simply someone who cares about good teaching and wants to stay connected to a community that does too, you’re welcome here.

Open to Everyone

The ATC Erasmus+ Teachers Hub is free and open to any educator, coordinator, or education professional. You don’t need to be planning a mobility or project. You just need to be interested in teaching well and staying connected to what’s happening in European education.

We publish new content every two weeks and our archive is growing steadily.

Come and join us. The community you’ve been looking for might already be here.
